ISQua’s 40th International Conference, Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar International Convention & Exhibition Center (ICEC)

ISQua is an international community dedicated to improving quality and patient safety, including through the establishment of the External Evaluation Association (ISQua-EEA)—an association of external evaluation organizations that subsequently developed guidelines and standards for external evaluation organizations (including accreditation bodies).
The 40th ISQua International Conference, held in Istanbul, Turkey, from September 25, 2024, to September 27, 2024, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 20.0 European CME credits (ECMEC®).
Every medical specialist should claim only the credit hours that they have actually spent on educational activities.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians can convert EACCME® credits to the equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1™ credits. Information on the process for converting EACCME® credits to AMA credits can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
In-person educational activities taking place outside Canada that are recognized by UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC® are considered Accredited Group Learning Activities (Part 1) as defined by the Certification Maintenance Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
In addition, several members of LPA-PKP also attended the conference, strengthening international networks and actively contributing to discussions on global health care standards and quality.
